Dull News in Local Newspapers

A new feature celebrating Dull News in Local Newspapers, lighting a candle for those poor journalists who have to sit through council meetings, turn around shockingly dull press releases, and fill 32 pages of copy around the adverts.

Wokingham Times: BREAKING: NatWest in Wokingham open as usual

Reading Evening Post: BREAKING: Town centre bin fire

Henley Standard: BREAKING: Council approves planters for car park

Southampton Daily Echo: BREAKING: Village fete banner stolen

More BREAKING NEWS as it happens

I'd like to nominate Watford Observer's "Stolen Petrol Caps" story.

Or does it only count when things are SO bad that they send a snapper along just to give him/her something to do.
